Martian Nella is a creative writer and a proud daughter of Georgetown, Guyana, with Afro-Guyanese, Indo-Guyanese, and Portuguese roots.

Her writing is inspired by the rich traditions and oral storytelling of her family, particularly those rooted in Berbice where her mother and grandparents are from.

She enjoys capturing the spirit of Guyanese folklore and blending it with personal memory and cultural pride.

Academically, Martian Nella is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a focus in Forensics, maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA and earning a place on the President’s List and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

She holds certifications from prestigious institutions, including Yale University (Introduction to Psychology), Harvard University (Cybersecurity), and Case Western University (International Criminal Law).

As a dedicated entrepreneur and advocate for education, safety, and community development, she has completed programs such as the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center Milestone Circles, WE3A Accelerator (where she was a Demo Day winner), and the Bank of America Institute at Cornell Women’s Entrepreneurship Program.

Her consultancy, TriFusion Consultancy, provides internationally recognized health, safety, and environmental training throughout Guyana and the wider Caribbean.

In her spare time, Martian Nella enjoys reading, writing stories and poetry, and spending quality time with her son. She is deeply committed to community engagement, especially in working with youth, children, seniors, and advocating for inclusive policies and special needs support.
